NEW ERA

PBN began exploring digitalization nearly ten years ago, initially focusing on manufacturing technologies and prototype development. In 2019 started the discovery and practical application of digitalization in senior care, supported by test infrastructure and a network of aging target individuals. At the end of 2023, the exploration of humanoid robots commenced, and in 2024, the first humanoid robots arrived—aimed at both manufacturing and social applications. The goal of the Humanoid Test Center is to test, develop, and promote the applicability of these robots.

ACTIVITIES

The PBN Humanoid Test Center aims to advance the research and application of interactions between humans and humanoid robots, with a focus on individual well-being. This innovative test center, equipped with unique research infrastructure and advanced technological solutions, supports both social and industrial applications. As part of the Pannon Business Network, the center closely collaborates with European and international partners to promote sustainable and digital solutions for the future.

The book "New Paradigm of Social Humanoids" provides a comprehensive overview of the development of humanoid technologies and their integration into society. Its goal is to explore how humanoid robots can enhance human quality of life, whether through supporting households, optimizing healthcare, or serving as interactive educational tools. The publication places particular emphasis on preserving human values alongside the advancement of AI and robotics.
